PRAYER:

This petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.08.2015 and consequently provide any mode of relief fund to survive the family and direct the respondents to provide the house under the State or Central Government scheme in order to get asylum to the petitioner's family.

ORDER

The petitioner made a representation on 10.08.2015 to the respondent No. 3, seeking relief by way of compensation due under the accident caused by fire. Seeking to expedite the said enquiry, the present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner before this Court.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that as per the scheme, the petitioner is entitled to be considered for compensation. Learned Government Advocate submitted that it is not clear as to whether any scheme is available, and if so, on verification, the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

request of the petitioner would be considered only after satisfying the eligibility and entitlement of the petitioner.

3. Considering the above facts, without going into the merits of the case, the respondent No. 3 is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.08.2015 and pass appropriate orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
