ORDER
The petitioner states that he is the owner of the property situate in Survey
Nos.175/17, 175/20, 175/21, 175/22 in Eduthukkatti Village, Tharangambadi Taluk, Mayiladuthurai District.
2. The cause of action, based on which the writ petitioner moved this Court, is that the fifth respondent who had constructed cement water channel in Survey No.174/18, would come into the petitioner's property.
3. Notice has been issued by this Court on 08.05.2025 and Mr.K.Tippu Sultan, learned Government Advocate sought time for getting instructions.
4. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, Mr.Tippu Sultan produced written instructions to show that channel is being laid over the existing Government channel and not over the property of the petitioner. The said written instruction is scanned and extracted hereunder:
5. Since the channel has not been laid over the property of the petitioner, the apprehension of the petitioner is misconceived.
6. Recording the statement of the learned Government Advocate, this Writ Petition is closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.

The matter was listed under the caption 'for being mentioned' today on the request made by Ms.Mahamandra. She states that though the writ petition had been disposed of by an order of this Court dated 16.05.2025, the order copy had not been issued by the Registry. To find out the reason, I listed the matter today.
2. Mr.Tippu Sultan, learned Government Advocate, states that neither the petitioner nor the respondents sought the mater to be adjourned to 23.05.2025 and that the matter had been disposed of on 16.05.2025. As this position has been clarified, no further orders are necessary in this writ petition.
