ORDER

Seeking a direction to the second respondent police to register the petitioner's complaint dated 15.1.2015 and investigate the matter and file the final report, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police. P.N.PRAKASH,J

3. On reading of the complaint, it appears that the dispute is between the petitioner and the opposite parties with regard to sharing of profits in a partnership business relating to granites. In the same complaint, the petitioner has alleged that he was assaulted by opposite parties. But, he has not enclosed any Medical Certificate.

4. The petitioner by producing any contemporaneous Medical Certificate to show that he was assaulted on 15.1.2015, shall lodge a fresh complaint to the second respondent police and on receipt of such complaint, the second respondent police shall deal with the same in accordance with the law laid down by the Honourable Apex Court in Lalita Kumari vs. Govt. of U.P. & others [2013 (4) Crimes 243 (SC)]..

5. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
