PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to transfer the investigation in Crime No.1349 of 2020 (on the file of the Inspector of Police, Mangadu Police Station, Chennai) from the 1st Respondent to any other agency.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to transfer the investigation in Crime No.1349 of 2020 (on the file of the Inspector of Police, Mangadu Police Station, Chennai) from the 1st Respondent to any other agency.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that during pendency of this petition, the investigation has already been transferred from the file of the 1st respondent to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the 2nd respondent. Thereafter, new crime number has been assigned in Cr.No.837 of 2020 for the offence under Sections 342, 324, 366 & 384 IPC. Further, he submitted that the Investigation Officer has almost completed the investigation and about to file a final Report.

4. Therefore, considering the above submission, the second respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file a final Report within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
