O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to Register the document of Sale dated 27.12.2024 by virtue of the representations dated 30.01.2025 and 01.04.2025 within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court in respect of the property situated in Ariyalur District, Senthurai Sub District, Nakkambaadi Village 2nd ward.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner intend to purchase the subject property from the 3rd respondent, for which unregistered Sale Agreement was also entered between them. When the Sale Deed was presented for registration before the 2nd respondent, the 3rd respondent submitted the objection petition before the 2nd respondent, due to which the 2nd respondent refused to 2/6
register the Sale Deed. Thereafter, the petitioner's husband submitted a representation to the 2nd respondent for registration of the Sale Deed. The 2nd respondent had given a receipt in receipt No.345/2024 stating that the "documents pending for refusal of the vendor". Thereafter, on 01.04.2025, the petitioner made an application to the 2nd respondent under RTI, for which the 2nd respondent vide its reply on 29.04.2025 stated that enquiry is pending. Hence, left with no other alternative, the petitioner has approached this Court, seeking for the relief stated supra.
3. Further, he would submit that the respondents have conducted detail enquiry and only because of the pendency of the this Writ Petition, the respondents are not passing any order on the aforesaid representations.
4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1and 2 also accepted the aforesaid contention made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and prays for appropriate orders. 3/6
5. Heard both sides. Perused the records.
6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the fact that enquiry has already been completed, the 2nd respondent is directed to pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 01.04.2025, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 09.10.2025 Speaking/Non-speaking order Index : Yes / No arr 4/6
