ORDER

Seeking a direction to the respondent police to register the complaint of the petitioner dated 31.03.2015 pending investigation on the file of respondent police, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police.

3.From a perusal of the materials available on record, it is seen that the petitioner has sent a complaint dated 31.3.2015 to the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Mambalam Police Station. But, he has not given any complaint to the jurisdictional police. The https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

complaint discloses serious offence, in as much as a group of rowdy elements are forcibly trying to take possession of the petitioner's property. The petitioner is a lady.

4. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to give a copy of the complaint dated 31.3.2015, that has been given to the Deputy Commissioner of Police, which has been filed in this court, to the Inspector of Police, R1, Mambalam Police Station and on such complaint being given, the Inspector of Police, R1, Mambalam Police Station is directed to enquire into the same and take necessary action in accordance with the law laid down by the Honourable Apex Court in Lalita Kumari vs. Govt. of U.P. & others [2013 (4) Crimes 243 (SC)]..
