By consent, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. Though a larger relief has been prayed for, when the matter is taken up, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, taking into consideration, the possession of the petitioner for a long period of time, it would suffice if the petitioner is given a further period of three months, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, to hand over possession. Considering the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and taking into account, the peculiar facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondents to allow the petitioner to continue with the possession of the property situated in Town Survey No. 2725/1 & 2, Kancheepuram Town, Kancheepuram District, for a further period of three months, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
