This miscellaneous petition is filed by the Claimants seeking permission of this Court to withdraw the amount deposited by the appellant to the credit of MCOP No.4111/2000 on the file of Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal,(I Fast Track Court) Chennai.

2. This court, while admitting the appeal directed the appellant/Insurance Company to deposit entire Award amount, pursuant to which, the amount was deposited.

3. Heard both sides.

4. Considering the submissions of both sides, both these M.Ps are disposed of with the following direction :

(i) the order of interim stay is made absolute.

(ii) the respondent/claimant is permitted to withdraw 50% of his respective share from the award amount deposited together with accrued interest. The respondent/ claimant is permitted to withdraw the accrued interest once in six months till the disposal of this appeal.
