The 1st petitioner made a representation dated 28.10.2013 to the 1st respondent for issuance of separate patta, in her favour as well as the other petitioners herein, who are her sisters, in respect of the lands measuring 0.37.0 hectares (92cents) in S.No. 169/1, Karrukkalvadi Village, Omalur Taluk, Salem District, which was allotted to them as per panchayat muchalika and partitioned subsequently, as per registered partition deed dated 01.07.2009. In the said representation, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
the 1st petitioner has stated that she submitted a representation, in this regard, even as early as in the year 2010 and despite the fact that the 2nd respondent, who is none other than her brother, was enquired, no final orders were passed thereafter. As no action has been taken by the 1st respondent even on the subsequent representation of the 1st petitioner dated 28.10.2013, the present writ petition has been filed.
2.
Considering the limited scope of the relief sought, without going into the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of as hereunder:
"The petitioner shall forward another copy of the representation dated 28.10.2013 along with a copy of this order to the 1st respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the same, the 1st respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders, on merits, in accordance with law and after affording a reasonable opportunity to the petitioners as well as to the 2nd respondent, within a period of eight weeks thereafter."
No costs. Connected M.P. is closed.
