The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to consider his representation dated 25.04.2023 and pass orders permitting him to run a bunk shop at PV Cherian Road, Opposite KCP Limited, Opposite Passport Office, Near Indian Overseas Bank, Chennai.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he is running a bunk shop at PV Cherain Road, Opposite KCP Limited, Opposite Passport Office, Near Indian Overseas Bank, Chennai. He is engaged in selling all bewerages and other food items. The petitioner submitted a representation to the respondents on 25.04.2023 seeking permission to run a bunk shop in the above mentioned place, but the same has not been considered.

Mr.A.S.Ragul Adhithya, learned counsel for Mrs.P.T.Ramadevi, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the Government of Tamil Nadu already formed Town Vending Committee and hence, the representation of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

4. In view of the limited prayer made by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.04.2023 on merits and pass final orders in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
