The petitioners are working as Nursing Tutors Grade II in Tamil Nadu Nursing Service. It is the grievance of the petitioners that notwithstanding the recommendation made by the VI Pay Commission to revise the pay scale, follow up action was not taken by the 2nd respondent. The petitioners have submitted a representation dated 09.01.2015 requesting the 1st respondent to rectify the mistakes pointed out by them and fix the pay scale in accordance with the recommendation of VI Pay Commission. The present request is to direct the 1st respondent to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioners dated 09.01.2015.

2. The first respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioners dated 09.01.2015 on merits and as per law, more particularly in the light of the recommendation made by the VI Pay Commission. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
3. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
