Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records relating to the notification/advertisement bearing reference Advertisement No.01/2015 dated 02.12.2015 from the 2nd respondent and quash the same and Consequently, direct the respondents 1 to 3 to mention the marks allotted to the various criteria, consider petitioner by giving due weightage and marks to the teaching imparted by the petitioner in the 3rd respondent college from 16.07.2007 and appoint her as Assistant Lecturer ( Botany) in the 3rd respondent college.

With the consent of both sides, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

The writ petition is filed seeking Writ of certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records relating to the notification/advertisement bearing reference Advertisement No.01/2015 dated 02.12.2015 from the 2nd respondent and quash the same. Consequently, direct the respondents 1 to 3 to mention the marks allotted to the various criteria, consider petitioner by giving due weightage and marks to the teaching imparted by the petitioner in the 3rd respondent college from 16.07.2007 and appoint her as Assistant Lecturer ( Botany) in the 3rd respondent college.
3. When the matter came up before this Court on 16.02.2016, this Court has passed the following interim order: " Mr.M.Devendran, learned standing counsel appearing on behalf of the second respondent fairly submitted before the Court that since the interview for various posts are scheduled to be held on 17.02.2016, the second respondent will keep one post vacant in the post of Assistant Professor in Botany subject. The learned standing counsel also made a statement that the petitioner, Dr.S.Sridevi, will be accommodated as guest Lecturer in Botany Subject in the third respondent college as a temporary measure.
2. The said statement made by the learned standing counsel is recorded. In view of the above undertaking, this Court directs that the respondents can proceed as per the notification. "
4. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has participated in the interview. Now, the second respondent is prepared to appoint the petitioner in the third respondent college as Assistant Professor in Botany subject with effect from 01.11.2016.
5. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, there is no need to give any specific direction. Recording the said submission, this Writ Petition is closed.
No costs.
Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
