Common Prayer :- Civil Revision Petitions are filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, seeking direction to the learned Principal District Munsif, Alandur (Rent Court at Alandur), for early disposal of R.L.T.O.P.No.6 of 2019 & R.L.T.O.No.7 of 2019, within a time limit stipulated by this Court.

In both the C.R.P's For Petitioner : Mr.G.Jeremiah Gregory John COMMON ORDER These Civil Revision Petition are filed, seeking direction to the learned Principal District Munsif, Alandur (Rent Court at Alandur), for early disposal of R.L.T.O.P.No.6 of 2019 & R.L.T.O.No.7 of 2019, within a time limit stipulated by this Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the R.L.T.O.P.No.6 of 2019 & R.L.T.O.No.7 of 2019 were pending from 2019, on the file of the learned Principal District Munsif, Alandur (Rent Court at Alandur) and there is no progress. He further submitted that the Rent Court is bound to dispose the petition under Section 36(6) of the Act, within 90 days from the date of filing of this petition. The R.L.T.O.P.No.6 of 2019 & R.L.T.O.No.7 of 2019 was pending for an enquiry from 04.02.2021. The respondent appeared and filed counter in R.L.T.O.P.No.6 of 2019 & R.L.T.O.No.7 of 2019 on 13.10.2020. The petitioner is ready for enquiry, however, there is no progress in the case. Therefore, the present Civil 2/4

Revision Petitions are preferred.

Considering the limited scope of this Civil Revision Petition, the fact that the R.L.T.O.P.No.6 of 2019 & R.L.T.O.No.7 of 2019, petitions ripe for enquiry, the learned Principal District Munsif, Alandur (Rent Court at Alandur), is directed to dispose of the R.L.T.O.P.No.6 of 2019 & R.L.T.O.No.7 of 2019, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. Accordingly, these Civil Revision Petitions are disposed of. No costs.
