The applicant is the highest bidder at an auction conducted in respect of the lands constituting the Maxworth Chengalpet Project.

2. The applicant's bid was for an aggregate sum of Rs.1,65,00,000/-. At the hearing on 13.03.2024, the applicant handed over two banker's cheques for an aggregate sum of Rs.15,25,000/-. Upon verification, the Official Liquidator confirms that the total sale consideration of Rs.1,65,00,000/- was received.

3. Therefore, the following directions are issued: (i) The sale in favour of the applicant is confirmed and, as a consequence, the Official Liquidator is directed to execute a sale certificate in favour of the applicant/auction purchaser or her nominees in respect of the 18.50 acres constituting the Maxworth Chengalpet Project. 1/2 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

kal (ii) The sale certificate shall be executed by the Official Liquidator within 30 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. (iii) The Official Liquidator shall also hand over possession of the lands to the auction purchaser.

(iv) All available original documents pertaining to the said lands shall also be handed over to the auction purchaser. (v) If necessary, the jurisdictional revenue and police authorities are directed to provide necessary assistance to the auction purchaser in relation to taking over possession of the property.
