The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.09.2014, consequently directing the 1st respondent to give a appropriate direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to consider the petitioner's request for one time settlement offer in Housing Loan Account No. LBPDY 0000 1331869.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner made a submission that the issues are settled between the parties. Thus no further adjudication is required.

3. The learned counsel for the respondent says that the issues are not settled.

4. However, this Court is of the considered opinion that when the petitioner, who instituted the writ petition made a submission that he is not willing to continue the proceedings, there is no point in keeping the matter pending.

5. Accordingly, the Writ petition stands closed. No costs.
