ORDER
This writ petition has been filed praying to issue a direction to the 1st to 4th respondents to file action taken report on the complaint of the petitioner dated 04.02.2026 and 11.02.2026. 2.
According to the petitioner, he was working as lorry driver in the lorry having registration No.TN 28 AM 4071 owned by one, Veerakumar. On 30.01.2026 at about 10.00 pm, the petitioner vehicle loaded with the liquor boxes numbering about 1400 boxes started from the 5th respondent factory to unload the liquor boxes before the 6th respondent. The load was unloaded in the presence of the 6th respondent employee on 03.02.2026. At that time, it was found some liquor boxes
worth of Rs.2,68,800/- were stolen. The 5th and 6th respondents refused to give any complaint. So, the petitioner lodged a complaint before the 2 nd and 4th respondents and also to the 1st and 3rd respondents. Howeve, no case was registered on the complaint of the petitioner. Moreover the 5th respondent has detained the lorry of the petitioner for the payment of the loss incurred by the theft of the liquor boxes. Hence, the complainant has filed this writ petition seeking direction to the first to fourth respondents to take action on his complaint.

Considering the above, the first to fourth respondents are directed to conduct enquiry on the complaint of the petitioner dated 04.02.2026 and 11.02.2026, after issuance of notice to the petitioner and counter parties, if any, and giving them opportunity of personal hearing, and to pass appropriate orders on the said complaint within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 4.
With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
