ORDER
The prayer made in this writ petition is to direct the respondent to forthwith promote the petitioner as Helper (Field Assistant) with effect from the date on which his junior was promoted and consequentially give all the monetary benefits to the petitioner.
2.According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner was appointed as Mazdoor on 09.09.2007 and has been continuously working as such in the respondent Board, till date, without any promotion, whereas his junior Raji was given promotion as Helper (Field Assistant) on 29.06.2012. Feeling aggrieved, the petitioner made representations dated 03.02.2014 and 22.02.2014 to the respondent seeking promotion and other benefits. However, the said representations were not considered so far. Hence, the present writ petition.

3.On the other hand, the learned standing counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that due to the punishment imposed on the petitioner, he was not considered for promotion. However, he fairly submitted that the respondent would consider the representations of the petitioner as per the present position of the case and pass appropriate orders, within a reasonable time to be fixed by this Court.
4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court directs the respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 03.02.2014 and 22.02.2014, if not already considered and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.Accordingly, the writ petition stand disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
