Prayer: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to grant patta to the petitioner land comprised in S.No.298/4B, T.S.No.62 Achanamanaidu Kandigai, Arakkonam, Ranipet District, within a time frame fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner dated 05.10.2020, wherein the petitioner has sought for grant of patta in his favour with respect to the subject property.

2. Mr.V.Annai Ezhil, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of respondents 1 and 2 submitted that the second respondent has already called the parties for an enquiry 07.12.2020 at 11.00 A.M. The learned Government Advocate further submitted that the petitioner can be present at the time of enquiry along with all the relevant documents.

3. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also of the fact that the third respondent has called the parties for an enquiry, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to conduct an enquiry after affording opportunity to the petitioner and also the respondents 3 to 6 and shall pass final orders strictly in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
