Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, praying to direct the 2nd respondent police herein to provide police protection to the petitioner at his residence as well as at his cultivation lands comprised in Survey Nos.444, 445, 447, 449, 460/4, 461 etc., situate at Pichivakkam Village, Sriperumbudur Taluk, Kanchipuram District. This petition has been filed seeking for a police protection.
2. The case of the petitioner is that he is doing cultivation in the property and he is bringing up three children on his own. The respondents 3 to 8 are forcing the petitioner to involve himself in the business of illicit arrack. The petitioner does not want to involve himself in that and he wants to bring up the children in a better atmosphere.
3. Heard the learned for the petitioner and the Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondent police.
4. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent police to call all the parties for enquiry and ascertain the real dispute between the parties. If the dispute revolves around any property, the parties may be relegated to a competent Civil Court. If the dispute concerns the future of the children, they should not be exposed towards any illicit arrack and the respondent police shall give appropriate instructions to the respondents 3 to 8, not to cause any threat to the petitioner and his children.
