This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to the learned Sessions and District Judge, Tiruppur (Special Court for the exclusive trial of SC and ST Cases, Tiruppur) to accept the surrender of the petitioner herein concerned in Cr.No.172 of 2024 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Gudimangalam Police Station, Tiruppur and consider his bail application on the same day itself.

2. In view of Section 15A of the SC & ST Act, the prayer in this petition cannot be acceded and therefore, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the trial court to consider the bail petition without any violations of the provisions of the Act. 21.06.2024 Vv To
