Respondents Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the 4th respondent in its proceedings in Na.Ka.22518-07 (A4) dated 04.06.2008 and quash the same and direct the 4th respondent to lease out the poramboke lands in Survey No.21/2 and 21/3 in Sangeethapatti Village, Omalur Taluk, Salem District, to the petitioner if the respondents are deciding to lease out the same.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to call for the records of the 4th respondent in its proceedings in Na.Ka.22518-07 (A4) dated 04.06.2008 and to quash the same and to direct the 4th respondent to lease out the poramboke lands in survey No.21/2 and 21/3 in Sangeethapatti Village, Omalur Taluk, Salem District, to the petitioner if the respondents are deciding to lease out the same.

2. On 27.07.2018, when the Writ Petition was taken up for hearing, there was no representation for the petitioner in the morning, hence, the matter was passed over to 2.15 pm in the afternoon. Even at 2.15 pm, there was no representation for the petitioner, hence, the Registry was directed to list the matter under the caption "For Dismissal" on 30.07.2018. Accordingly, the matter is listed today i.e. on 30.07.2018 under the said caption. Even today, when the matter is called, there is no representation for the petitioner in the morning as well as in the afternoon. Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed for non prosecution. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
