ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Mrs.Justice N.Mala) The above petition is filed seeking extension of time for a further period of three (3) months granted by this Court vide its order dated 06.03.2025 in W.P.No.33710 of 2024

for relocations from today.

2.Mr.V.Manohar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would seek further period of three months time to comply with the order of this Court dated 06.03.2025 in W.P.No.33710 of 2024.

3.On a perusal of the records, this Court finds that on 18.11.2024, the petitioner had filed an affidavit of undertaking that the subject premises would be vacated and handed over to the Greater Chennai Corporation / 1st respondent. Despite filing of such an affidavit before this Court, till date the possession has not been handed over to the Greater Chennai Corporation, but the present petition has been filed seeking extension of further period of three months.

4.Since the order of this Court dated 06.03.2025 has not been complied with by the petitioner and the petitioner has not vacated and handed over the premises as directed by this Court before May, 6th 2025, we are not inclined to extend time by further period of three months, as sought for by the petitioner. 5.Therefore, the petitioner is directed to vacate the premises and handover the same to the 1st respondent / Greater Chennai Corporation on or before 15.06.2025, failing which the 1st respondent / Corporation authorities are directed to evict the petitioner with the assistance of police.
