Civil Revision Petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India to direct the Family Court to dispose of the petition in H.M.O.P.No.1125 of 2013 on the file of Family Court, Coimbatore within the time stipulated by this Court.

Though the respondent has been served with notice, he has not chosen to enter appearance. The submissions made on behalf of the petitioner are heard. The limited prayer made in this petition is for the issuance of a direction to the trial Court to dispose of the H.M.O.P.No.1125 of 2013 expeditiously.

2. It is represented by the learned counsel for the petitioner that after the respondent filed the counter, the original petition stood listed repeatedly for enquiry and since the Court below has not taken steps to dispose of the H.M.O.P which was filed in the year 2013, the prayer made by the petitioner for a direction has got to be granted. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this civil revision petition is allowed and the Family Court Judge, Coimbatore is hereby directed to take up the enquiry and dispose of the H.M.O.P.No.1125 of 2013 as expeditiously as possible, in any event within six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
