(Order of the Court was made by M.S.RAMESH, J.) On the ground that the respondent Police has not filed counter for considerable time, the petitioner was granted temporary leave which came to be extended periodically and till 12.07.2024.

2. In the present application, the petitioner seeks for extension of leave.

Today, the respondents have filed their counter.

3. Though we are inclined to hear the Writ Petition finally, the learned Counsel for the petitioner seeks time. As such, we are of the view that the leave, which is due to expire on 12.07.2024, need not be extended.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Miscellaneous Petition stands dismissed.

The petitioner's husband shall surrender before the jail authorities on 12.07.2024.
