Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents herein to settle the petitioner entire arrears of earn leave surrender and leave on private arrears as per 6th pay commission recommendation along with 12% interest per annum from June 2006 to till its settlement.

O R D E R

The relief sought for in this writ petition is for a direction to settle the petitioner's entire arrears of earned leave surrender and leave on private arrears as per 6th pay commission recommendations along with 12% interest per annum from June 2006 till its settlement.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the respondent Corporation made a submission that the amount sought for in this writ petition was considered and the dues to the writ petitioner was already settled, pursuant to the orders passed by the respondent in proceedings dated 31.07.2017.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner submits that the writ petitioner has received the said amount without prejudice to his further claims. However, the grievances advanced in this writ petition are redressed and if there is any further grievance, it is left open to the writ petitioner to approach the appropriate authorities. With these observations, the writ petition stands closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
