This Application coming on this day before this court for hearing, the Court made the following order:
In the previous hearing date the contemnor was present and he had also informed that a demand draft had been purchased for a sum of Rs.93,00,000/- (Rupees Ninety Three Lakhs only) and Mr.V.Srikanth who represented on behalf of the contemnor stated that the said demand draft which had been purchased in the name of the Registrar General, Madras High Court in D.D.No.371865 dated 18.01.2021 would also be deposited in the Registry.
2. The learned counsel for the plaintiff, however seeks to prolong the issue stating that the contemnor had issued a letter which was in contemnor of this Court. At any rate the contemnor was physically present and had expressed apology and it would only add to the dignity of the Court, if the
matter is laid to rest.
3. The submission that the demand draft had been actually deposited in the Registry is recorded.
4. This application is closed as no further orders are required. Sd./-C.V.K.J.
