ORDER

This matter earlier came up for consideration before this Court on 18.09.2024. As there was no representation for the petitioner the same was directed to be listed under the caption "for dismissal". 1/4

2. Today, in spite of the matter being listed under dismissal caption, there is no representation for the petitioner. Further, from a perusal of the materials on record, it is noticed that the subject matter of dispute is that the petitioner was imposed with punishment of reduction of basic pay by one stage in time-scale of pay for a period of one year, which is temporary in nature. The petitioner was 59 years at the time of filing of writ petition and thereafter retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation.

3. In the light of the above, this Court is left with no other alternative than dismissing the writ petition for non-prosecution. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs.
