2. The learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondent would submit that the convict has been released on Friday. He has also produced a copy of the fax message dated 02.11.2019 sent by the Additional Director General of Police/Inspector General of Prisons, Egmore, Chennai to the Superintendent of Prisons, Central Prison, Palayamkottai. The aforesaid fact is not disputed by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

3. In such view of the matter, nothing survives for consideration in this petition and the contempt petition stands closed.
