ORDER

This contempt petition has been filed on the ground that the order passed by this Court on 22.11.2018 has not been complied with.

2. This Court disposed of the petition filed by the petitioner with a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation and file a final report or closure report, as the case may be within a period of two months.

3. The respondent has now filed a counter affidavit. The relevant portion in the counter affidavit is extracted hereunder. "7. I submit that based on the above said order of this Hon'ble High Court, I, K.Palavesam, Inspector of Police, J-5 Sasthri Nagar Police Station had been completed the investigation of this case and filed a closure report as M.F (Mistake of Fact) to the C.M.M, Egmore Court with the served copy of R.C notice on 09.08.2019. The R.C notice was directly served to the complainant Mrs.Kalyani on 08.08.2019".

4. In view of the above development, no further orders are required to be passed in this petition and accordingly, this contempt petition is closed.
