Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a writ of mandamus, to direct the respondents to grant extension of raising cum sale contract period beyond 06.12.2012 for fulfilling the entire period of five years of contract, i.e., unutilized period of eight months after the date of expiry of alleged contract period fixed as on 06.12.2012 by the respondent, by allowing quarrying operation and transporting blocks from the quarry after due payments to the respondent for a period of eight months and also directing the respondent to grant extension of raising cum sale contract period till the expiry of the present lease period granted by the Government of Tamil Nadu, in respect of granite quarry measuring 3-38-30 hectares comprised in S.No.935 of Ajjanahalli Village, Pennagram Taluk, Dharmapuri District.
