The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 30.04.2024 in Crime No.50 of 2024, for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 457 and 380 of IPC, seeks bail.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated, based on the false complaint given by the defacto complainant. He further submitted that the petitioner is suffering incarceration from 30.04.2024 and she is ready to abide any stringent conditions that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prays for grant of bail to the petitioner.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police raised objection for granting bail to the petitioner stating that the petitioner was arrested for the theft of silver articles and gold ornaments. He further submitted that this petitioner has eight previous cases pending against him. He further submitted that the jewels was not yet recovered. drl pending, and if the petitioner is released on bail, she will tamper the witnesses and also commit the same type of offences again. Hence, he prayed for dismissal of the bail petition .

4. Considering the gravity and nature of the offence and the bad antecedents of the petitioner and also considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
