Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, praying to call for the records in respect of the impugned order passed by the second respondent in application number 384 dated 13.06.2024 for rejected the petitioner transfer application, to quash the same and consequently direct the second respondent to transfer the petitioner to the fourth respondent as a superintendent post. ORDER
This writ petition is filed challenging the impugned order which is passed in Application No.384 dated 13.06.2024. By the said order, the request transfer of the petitioner is rejected.

It is seen that the petitioner was originally working as Assistant in the office of Wildlife Warden in Ramanathapuram and while so upon promotion as Superintendent, he was transferred from Ramanathapuram to Villupuram Division. Thereafter, he has made the present application for request transfer by stating that his wife is employed as Typist at Page No. 2 of 5
3. The matters of transfer and posting are within the domain of the respondents. The petitioner does not have any right to ask for a particular place.
4. It is seen that he has been working in Ramanathapuram upto 2023 and only on promotion he has now been posted to Villupuram. The guidelines lays down that the request transfer to the place in which, the spouse is working can be effected since the petitioner is now only transferred on promotion, his spouse can given a request for transfer to Villupuram.
5. Therefore, finding no merits, this writ petition is dismissed. However, dismissal of the order will not preclude the petitioner or his spouse from making fresh request in future to any place as may be permissible in law. No costs. Consequently, connected writ miscellaneous petitions are closed.
