By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The case of the petitioner is that she was appointed as P.G.Assistant through Teachers Recruitment Board on 31.12.2012 and she joined the duty on 02.01.2013. Since her date of birth was wrongly given in the service register as 09.04.1983 instead of 14.07.1985, she submitted a representation for alteration of correct date of birth. Since it was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Heard Mr.C.Prakasam, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.L.Mahendran, learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4. This Court, considering the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner and without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.11.2015 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
