ORDER

The petitioner, who was functioning as Vice President, has come forward to file this writ petition, seeking to forbear the respondents from interfering with the right to issue cheque. 2.Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, would submit that an order has been passed by the District Collector, who is the Inspector of Panchayats in Na.Ka.No.A2/009/2016 dated 26.05.2016, authorising the Member of the 6th ward by name N.Subramanian viz., the fifth respondent to sign the cheques. Incidentally, it is to be seen that the term of the petitioner has also come to an end.

3.As the order dated 26.05.2016 has not been put into challenge coupled with the fact that the term of the petitioner has come to an end, nothing more survives for adjudication. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
