ORDER

The impugned order of deployment passed by the second respondent in Na. Ka. No. 8364 / B6 / 2023, dated 30.05.2024, is put under challenge in the present Writ Petition.

2. Heard the learned counsels appearing on either side.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that she was appointed as B.T. Assistant in the fourth respondent school in the year 2004. The petitioner had filed the present petition challenging the impugned order of her deputation, declaring her post as surplus. However, the impugned order was passed without providing any opportunity either to the petitioner or to the fourth respondent school. Aggrieved by the same, the present petition has been filed.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court had granted an order of interim stay on 22.07.2024. He further submitted that the petitioner is at the verge of her superannuation i.e., 30.06.2026 and requested this Court to issue an order to the respondents to permit her to continue in the present School till her retirement.

Per contra, the learned Special Government Pleader on instructions submitted that the respondents are not going to proceed further till the retirement of the petitioner i.e., till 30.06.2026 and the order of deputation has been modified as deployment order and in view of the same, the petition may be closed.

6. In view of the submissions made by the learned Special Government Pleader, nothing survives for further adjudication in the matter. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands closed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. There shall be no order as to costs. 16-02-2026 Index: Yes/No DP
