ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking a limited relief. The petitioners seek an early disposal of O.S.No.1049 of 2024, pending on the file of the XX Additional District and Sessions Court, Allikulam, Chennai.

2. Since no adverse order is passed against the respondent in this civil revision petition, notice to the respondent is dispensed with by this Court.

3. The said suit has been filed by the petitioners seeking recovery of possession and arrears of rent. Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that, till date, the written statement has not been filed by the respondent/defendant.

4. After giving due consideration to the nature of the suit as well as the year of the suit, this Court deems it fit to direct the trial court to dispose of the said suit, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of by directing the trial court, namely the XX Additional District and Sessions Court, Allikulam, Chennai to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.1049 of 2024, by directing the respondent/defendant to file written statement, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court, and after framing issues and after Page No.2 of 4

conducting trial, within a period of one (1) year from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
