Respondents [Respondents 2 to 9 impleaded as per order dated 01/08/2014 made in M.P.Nos.1/13 & 1/14 in WP.22086/13] PRAYER: Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to conduct an enquiry with the petitioner in the presence of the encroachers based on the petitioner's representations dated 24.4.2013 and 13.5.2013 and consider the representation in accordance with law.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) On perusal of the petition, it appears that the petitioner claims patta in respect of land, where it alleges that the private respondents have encroached. There are some earlier proceedings in terms of which even pattas have been issued to the alleged encroachers. In effect, the petitioner seeks transfer of the pattas. The petitioner made a representation on 24.4.2013, which is alleged to have remained unattended.

2. On a conspectus of the matter, we direct that the representation of the petitioner may be examined by the first respondent in accordance with law and decision communicated to the petitioner within a maximum period of three months of the receipt of the order.

The petition, accordingly, stands disposed. No costs. Consequently, M.P.No.1 of 2015 is closed.
