With the consent of both sides, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

2.According to the petitioner, aggrieved over the order of the second respondent, with regard to non payment of subsistence allowance, he has preferred a Revision before the first respondent. Though, the revision petition was filed on 23.09.2014, it has not been disposed of, hence, the petitioner filed the present writ petition.

3.Heard the submissions of Mr.S.Venkataraman, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.D.Venkatachalam, Government Advocate appearing for first respondent and Mr.R.Balaramesh, Government Advocate appearing for second respondent who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the same, directs the first respondent to dispose of the revision petition of the petitioner dated 23.09.2014 filed under Section 153 of the Tamil Nadu Cooperative Societies Act, 1983 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.
