ORDER

This Revision arises against the Order of Subordinate Court, Poonamallee dated 25.10.2014 passed in I.A.No.149 of 2014 in HMOP.No.119 of 2013.

2. Heard the learned counsel for petitioner and learned counsel for respondent.

3. In this case, the petitioner/husband has preferred the present Civil Revision Petition against the order of interim maintenance in I.A.No.149 of 2014 in HMOP.No.119 of 2013 passed by learned Subordinate Judge, Poonamallee.

4. The order under challenge is a most reasonable one requiring the petitioner to pay monthly maintenance, merely a sum of Rs.2,500/-(Rupees Two Thousand and Five Hundred only) each to his wife and minor child. Even with regard to arrears, the court below has directed to pay a consolidated sum of Rs.5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only) as one time payment.

5. This Court finds no reason to interfere with the order of the court below. However, learned counsel for petitioner/husband brings to the notice of this Court that though the petition in HMOP.No.119 of 2013 seeking restitution of conjugal rights has been filed in year 2013, no counter has been filed by the respondent/wife till date. In such circumstances, this Court directs the court below to dispose of HMOP.No.119 of 2013 as expeditiously as possible, without giving any room for protraction of proceedings and dispose of the above said petition and in any event, not later than six months from the date of receipt of this order.

In the result, Civil Revision Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 16.06.2016 gv Index : Yes/No Internet: Yes/No To The learned Subordinate Judge, Poonamallee.
