(Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH,J.) This criminal miscellaneous petition has been filed to suspend the sentence imposed on the petitioner by judgment and order dated 06.03.2019 passed in S.C.No.24 of 2017 on the file of the Sessions Court, (Fast Track Mahila Court), Namakkal and to enlarge the petitioner on interim bail for two months pending disposal of the above appeal.

We find no merit in this petition for grant of interim bail to the petitioner, inasmuch as, this is a case of rape and murder and the conviction is of the year 2019. That apart, this Court is taking up cases of the accused in jail and the typed set is also ready. Therefore, this criminal miscellaneous petition stands dismissed. The Registry is directed to post the main appeals for final disposal on 12.10.2022.
