ORDER

The petitioner has come up with this petition seeking a direction to the respondent police to investigate the Crime No.160/2015 pending on its file and thereby direct them to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondent.

3. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and taking into account the nature of allegations in the complaint, a blanket direction to file a final report cannot be given and instead, it would be in the interest of justice, if a direction is issued to the respondent police to complete the investigation and either file a final report or closure report as the case may be, as expeditiously as possible, with due intimation to the defacto complainant.

4. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
