PRAYER:
This petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to dispose of the appeal after providing adequate opportunity to the petitioner. For Petitioner : Mr.M.Sriram, For Respondents : Mr.V.Subbiah, Special Government Pleader
ORDER
The petitioner, in pursuant to the order dated 13.05.2015, passed by this Court in W.P. No. 14655 of 2015, filed an appeal against the said order, under Section 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905. Though the said appeal was filed on 22.05.2015, the same has not been disposed of till now and hence, the present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner before this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.
3. Considering the pendency of the appeal dated 22.05.2015, filed by the petitioner the respondent No. 1 is directed to consider and pass appropriate orders on the same, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
4. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
