Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records relating to the issue of the seniority list published as Annexure to the impugned proceedings of the 3rd / 4th respondent in proceedings No.S2(2)/73076/2006 dated 13.10.

2021 and the consequential revision of seniority in the category of Assistant Executive Engineer and Executive Engineer in respect of the petitioners' batch and quash the same in so far as not placing the petitioners in the seniority lists of the respective category based on their marks and consequently to direct the respondents to revise the seniority list of Assistant Engineers, Assistant Executive Engineers and Executive Engineers in respect of the petitioner's batch by placing the petitioners in appropriate place based on their marks treating them as selected in the main list of the petitioners' batch as per rule 22(c) of Tamil Nadu State and Subordinate Service Rules following the same principle / procedure adopted for revising the seniority for the identically placed petitioner Nos.2, 3 and 12 in W.P.No.6649 of 2017.
