ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 22.06.2022 for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 341, 294(b) and 302 of IPC in crime No. 162 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that de-facto complainant is the mother of the deceased. Due to previous enmity, the petitioner along with nine other accused persons have assaulted the victim and as such, the victim died. Hence, the complaint.

3. There are totally 14 accused, in which the petitioner is arrayed as A2. A1 had previous enmity with the deceased family, since the deceased already murdered the father of A1. The petitioner, who is being the friend of A1, waylaid the de-facto complainant and attacked the deceased with knife. As far as the petitioner is concerned, he also attacked the deceased with knife and due to which, the deceased sustained grievous injuries and died on the spot.

4. The petitioner was arrested only on 22.06.2022 and as such, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
