O R D E R

The writ petition is for a mandamus, directing the respondents, in particular, the second respondent, to issue Nativity Certificate to the petitioner on the basis of the Application No.TN-3202010145340 dated 14.10.2020 submitted by him.

It is the case of the petitioner that he has applied for Nativity Certificate for his daughter Hiba Fathima on 14.10.2020 vide Application No.TN-3202010145340 before the second respondent, namely the Tahsildar, Purasaiwalkam Taluk, Chennai-7. Upon scrutiny, the Tahsildar, has returned the same for production of certain documents. Therefore, the petitioner sent a representation on 18.10.2020 enclosing thirteen https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

documents for issuing a Nativity Certificate for his daughter. As there was no response from the second respondent, the petitioner has knocked at the door of this court.

3. Upon notice, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, filed the counter affidavit of the second respondent herein. He has also produced a communication in Rc. No.A5/1221/2020 dated 22.10.2020. The said communication, was issued to the petitioner by the Tahsildar, Purasaiwalkam Taluk, directing him to produce the school records of his daughter and other documents with regard to the nativity certificate, to enable them to take a final decision on this issue.

Though it is stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner that such a communication was not received by the petitioner, it is in his interest, he is directed to produce the relevant documents that are required by the authorities, to consider his application and pass appropriate orders. It is further stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner that, as the last date for counselling is 12.11.2020, the second respondent is directed to consider the application, on the same day, when the petitioner is producing the documents and pass appropriate orders.

5. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected writ miscellaneous petition is closed.
