O R D E R

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.R.Rajeswaran, learned Special Government Pleader for the first respondent and Mr.P.V.Selvakumar for the respondents 2 and 3.

2. With the consent of the learned counsel appearing on either side, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal, at the admission stage itself.

This writ petition has been filed praying to direct the second respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 28/5/2015 for the issuance of licence for running the bunk shop on the line of Madhavaram High Road, Corner of Medavakkam, No.787, GNT Road, Madhavaram, Chennai 60, shed with shutter measurement about 30 x 20 = 600 Sq.feet (super structure), selling Tea, coffee and allied foods.

The petitioner claims to be a senior citizen. He is running bunk shop in the place mentioned above. However, according to the petitioner, the officials of the respondents are interfering with his business in running the bunk shop and are trying to evict him. Therefore, the petitioner gave representation dated 28/5/2015 to the second respondent and thereafter, has come up with the above writ petition.

Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 28/5/2015, on merits and pass appropriate orders thereon, in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Till such time, the second respondent passes appropriate orders, the petitioner shall not be dis-possessed from the place. Sd/- Asst.Registrar (CS III ) /true copy/ Sub Asst. Registrar mvs.
