O R D E R

The contempt petition is filed to punish the respondents for their willful disobedience of the order dated 30.08.2019 passed in W.P.No. 18796 of 2019.

2. The common order was passed directing the respondents to pass appropriate orders, granting regularisation to the writ petitioner. Though the order was passed in the year 2019, the petitioner has filed the present contempt petition, after a lapse of about two and half years.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing on behalf of the respondents, brought to the notice of this Court that, the original writ petitioner died on 15.01.2021 and the contempt petition has been filed by the legal heirs of the deceased employee. In respect of other persons, who are all similarly placed and obtained an order through the said common order, the competent authorities have sent the proposal for consideration and for passing appropriate orders and the case of the writ petitioner also to be considered along with all other persons.

4. With reference to the proposals submitted by the authorities to the Government, however, the contempt petition has been filed beyond the one year and therefore it is not entertainable. However two and half years lapsed from the date of order and this Court directed the authorities to pass orders within a period of four weeks. This being the factum, the petitioner is at liberty to pursue the matter with the respondents. Contempt petition stands closed.
