The petitioner has filed the writ petition for a mandamus, seeking a direction against the respondents 4, 5 and 7 to consider and act upon his representation dated 09.03.2025 forthwith for removal of the illegal encroachments made by the respondents 9 to 16 herein in the road poramboke land which was allotted to the State Highways Department for the extension of main road of Vellimalai - Moolakkadu - Pudhu Road comprised in Survey No.75/8B, which is located on the southern side of the petitioner's patta land comprised in Survey No.75/8A9 situated in Pudhupattu Village & Post, Vanapuram Taluk, Kallakurichi District, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents 1 to 8. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though a lager relief is sought for in the writ petition, it would suffice if a direction is issued to the fourth respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 09.03.2025, within a time frame stipulated by this Court.
4.Considering the limited prayer made by the petitioner, a direction is issued to the fourth respondent, to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.03.2025 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
