ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to register a complaint dated 06.06.2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner has given a complaint dated 06.06.2016 against his wife and her family members, in which, petition enquiry in CSR No.237 of 2016 is pending before the respondent.

4. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry expeditiously and during the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, a regular case shall be https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

registered, following the decision laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari v. Government of Uttarpradesh and Others reported in (2014) 2 SCC 1, otherwise the petition may be closed under intimation to the petitioner.

With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
