This Court while disposing of the above said Criminal Original Petition on 03.12.2018 directed the III Metropolitan Magistrate Court, George Town, Chennai to dispose of the C.C.No.10465 of 2007, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of that order.
2.Today, When the matter came up for hearing, it was brought to the notice of this Court by the Registry that the learned III Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, Chennai, through his letter in Dis.No.1463/19, dated 14.05.2019 has sought extension of time to dispose of the C.C.No.10465 of 2007 pending on his file, since the order passed by this Court dated 03.12.2018 could not be complied with, within the time prescribed by this Court.
3.Considering the request made by the III Metropolitan Magistrate Court, George Town, Chennai, this Court is of the view that it is just and proper to give further four months time to dispose of the C.C.No.10465 of 2007. 4.Accordingly, this Court granted further four months time to the learned Magistrate to dispose of the C.C.No.10465 of 2007 pending on his file, as per the direction given by this Court dated 03.12.2018. 28.06.2019 vv2 http://www.judis.nic.in
